Individual Therapy

In one-on-one therapy we will begin with what is difficult for you in the moment. We will identify what is important for you and address any barriers that may be preventing you from getting what you want in your life and for your happiness. We will look at your relationship to yourself and others, explore your strengths, communities, and support systems. We will increase self awareness and understanding. We will collaborate on creative ways of coping, healing and growth. As individuals we do not live in a bubble, we need to depend on each other in healthy ways for support-I love helping individuals establish interdependence, a healthy balance of independence and dependence. At times I find it helpful and necessary to ask loved ones to join in the process to facilitate further growth in the individual’s relationships.
